New jewellery

I haven't made any in a while but got new requests and orders coming in so thought it was time to start making some again. Plus i wanted to get a head start on making some ready for my holiday this christmas..a very big head start i realise, but it makes the holiday seem nearer.

First photo is white seed beads and turquise chips, second one is clear and pink swarovski bicones on a memory wire bracelet.

Crochet lavender eye mask

crochet a rectangle (i used a net stitch) and indise is a material pouch filled with rice and dried lavender flowers from the garden, so it's nice and heavy when you put it on. Smells yummy and is really relaxing.
Also i made a lavender spray by heating some flowers in water and decanting it into a spray bottle so the smell can be refreshed when it starts to fade.

Garden lantern jars

I know it's now autumn but i have been meaning to finish these for a long time, and DID start them in summer so i could use them. I guess they'll have to go away for next year. Just a few old sauce jars and a colour scheme of a few beads. They really catch the light when candles are lit inside them.

Crochet bag

Not a new one, one i did a little while ago but just came across again. Thinking of doing a few more but in different materials and bigger..Though i have far too many bags as it is, i just keep making them. Just got a sewing machine after years of wanting one and having nowhere to put one. The first thing i plan to make..yep, a bag..again.

Finished!

Finished the scarf quicker than i thought i would. Now i REALLY am going to finish the other pieces i keep saying i will and not put them off any longer..although i did just get a pattern for something i really want to do. Argh.

Starting a new scarf

I know it's getting warmer and it's the wrong weather but i like scarves, i have a lot and make a lot of them (mainly because they're the only think i can crochet or knit..they're just a straight line and i can't do anything else). Plus this will take so long it'll probably be winter again before i'm done.
I'm making a scarf on the daisy pin wheel. They look l;ovely but they're so small it takes hundreds of them to make anything of any kind of size, so it really will be ages before it's finished. In between doing this i REALLY do want to finish the beach cross stitch i started and keep doing bits on. I just never seem to get anywhere with it.
