Garden lantern jars

I know it's now autumn but i have been meaning to finish these for a long time, and DID start them in summer so i could use them. I guess they'll have to go away for next year. Just a few old sauce jars and a colour scheme of a few beads. They really catch the light when candles are lit inside them.

Crochet bag

Not a new one, one i did a little while ago but just came across again. Thinking of doing a few more but in different materials and bigger..Though i have far too many bags as it is, i just keep making them. Just got a sewing machine after years of wanting one and having nowhere to put one. The first thing i plan to make..yep, a bag..again.

Finished!

Finished the scarf quicker than i thought i would. Now i REALLY am going to finish the other pieces i keep saying i will and not put them off any longer..although i did just get a pattern for something i really want to do. Argh.

Starting a new scarf

I know it's getting warmer and it's the wrong weather but i like scarves, i have a lot and make a lot of them (mainly because they're the only think i can crochet or knit..they're just a straight line and i can't do anything else). Plus this will take so long it'll probably be winter again before i'm done.
I'm making a scarf on the daisy pin wheel. They look l;ovely but they're so small it takes hundreds of them to make anything of any kind of size, so it really will be ages before it's finished. In between doing this i REALLY do want to finish the beach cross stitch i started and keep doing bits on. I just never seem to get anywhere with it.

lip balms

One of a few types of lipbalm i've made. This one is a white chocolate and brown sugar lip scrub/exfoliator.
Also i've made milk chocolate lip balms. (Nice dark brown colour which does give your lips a bit of colour), and a bright pink strawberry lip balm.

Wouldn't mind trying a few others. Maybe a mint.

They're petrolium jelly based with essential oil, colouring and flavouring.

I'm a lip balm-a-holic, and had to try making my own..

Cinnamon and ginger soaps

They smell yummy and are really easy to make. I've only ever made soap flake based soaps so far. I want to try some of the liquid based ones but need to get the equipment.

Just been shifting a lot of craft things from my old house. Moved recently and when my craft room (the 3rd bedroom) is organized and my ikea desk finally gets its legs i'll be able to get going on a lot more projects. Jewellery especially. Old games cross stitch

This one is finished and i'm carrying on with one of the ones i've been trying to finish for ages. Got the patterns for these from a mixture of ones people had posted at sprite stitch. Being a bit of a game geek i couldn't resist.

New projects on the go

I decided to start this as a crafts blog. Mainly to keep myself sane when i have a million different things on the go and need to remember where i'm up to. Hopefully also to meet, share and read blogs of other craft crazy people as none of my friends seem to understand what i'm talking about or why i'm so into crafting.

Anyway. The newest projects i have on the go, which i'll hopefully figure out how to upload photos of (if they get finished and turn out the way i want them), are..

a patchwork denim tote bag

a multiple pane beach cross stitch, which i hope to turn into a panel for another bag. I also love bags if you can't tell.

A gigantic cross stitch of the front cover of the animal crossing wild world game. This, i realise might take a bit of time to complete.

Also, i'm working pretty much all the time on my jewellery now i finally have the shop and still hope to have enough for jewellery parties and craft fairs.

Inbetween this i hope to squeeze in time to get to my full-time job, complete my OU degree and have some form of life.

New etsy shop finally up and running

Ok. I've been meaning to set one up for ages. Registered last year for an account and did nothing with it but now, finally got around to adding a few bits. It's a work in progress i admit. Now i just need to figure out how to get people to see it, go there and buy things..
